The American media in bulk on 9-9 news, CBS television stations of the
United States of America informed the ceo Leslie Moonves has resigned
after a series of allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
Announced
on the evening of Sunday, CBS has put an end to the 20-year term of
ends of Leslie Moonves on the culmination of one of the country’s
largest media empire.
People temporarily
replaced Mr. Moonves is Mr. Joseph Ianniello, who is the Chief Executive
Officer (COO) of the company to CBS in 2013, in the meantime the Board
appoints new personnel.
Mr. Moonves served as
one of the respected managers in Hollywood until the accused has no
proper behaviour throughout the decades.
An
article by The New Yorker 9-9 minutes gave details of the accusations
of harassment as well as sexually assaulted six other women, bringing

Just hours after the
latest allegations of 6 women, CBS’S Moonves announced that he would
leave the position of Chairman of the Board, President and Chief
Executive immediately.
CBS also said Mr.
Moonves and tv networks will donate us $20 million to support the #MeToo
movement and equality for women in the workplace.
CBS
stressed the right of contribution amount will be shipped immediately
and were deducted from the payment of retrenchment that Mr. Moonves may
be entitled. Meanwhile, the investigation of the allegations against Mr. Moonves is due to the independent law firm.
According to CBS, at
this point, Mr. Moonves would not receive any retrenchment would –
estimate up to 100 million-until the results of the investigation and
independent reviews after that of the Board.
Mr.
Moonves joined CBS in 1995 after leaving Warner Bros. television
programs of CBS as “Friends” and “ER” are products developed by his
group. He was instrumental in the CBS revival from an old radio into tv station offers programs for digital platforms.
He was elected as the Chairman and Chief Executive of CBS in 1998, and later became Chairman of the Board in 2003.
